No. Your involvement is concentrated where it matters: the angle workshop and the approval of questions before the shoot, and the review of finished cuts after the edit.
The shoot day itself is handled end to end by the crew. You are welcome to join, some clients enjoy seeing the reactions live, but nothing about the production depends on it.
